Our Consulting Process consists of three phases:
1. Evaluation Phase
- Getting to know Germany and its economy, whilst zooming in on the specific business environment of your company
- Briefing on the R&D landscape, covering universities and other research institutions (e.g. Max Planck institutes, Fraunhofer….)
- Programs providing business support and promotion of economic development at regional, country and EU / global level
- Location proposal: briefing on proposed city includes campus profile, costs of office rent, salaries
- Legal structure of the German company, German tax and accounting briefing
- Home finding visit: a 1 -2 day visit to the city of choice, explore co-working locations, meeting itinerary includes chamber of commerce, business associations and further contacts as per your briefing
2. Business case & decision
If and when you decide to go ahead with your German subsidiary, we tailor our consulting support to your needs. We can provide desk research on competitors, provide in depth profiles of the campus under consideration and organise market research.
3. Implementation
- Preparation of legal documents and contracts for company registration, registration procedure
- Preparation of job descriptions, briefing HR consultants, search and preparation of candidate shortlist
- Briefing and coordination of real estate agents for office location search, vetting of rental contracts
- Preparation of employment contracts, briefing on German labour law
- Employer of reference service contracting, payroll contracting
